Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival

Land at Phnom Penh International Airport and after immigration and luggage collection meet and greet with your local guide and transfer for hotel check-in and free at leisure
Stay overnight: Phnom Penh

Day 2: Phnom Penh – Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy Cyclo ride to discover the city (half day)” during which visit The Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, the National Museum of Arts and Wat Phnom. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch depart to visit Killing field and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, housed in the former school that was taken over by the Khmer Rouge and used as its main detention & torture center named “S-21”. Your last stop of the day would be local market called “Russian market”.

Stay overnight: Phnom Penh 

Day 3: Phnom Penh – Kampong Cham – Chhlong

After breakfast overland transfer to Chhlong via Kampong Cham province (220 km=around 4h30’). On the way, enjoy a short stop at the picturesque crossroad town of Skun to discover a local culinary “delicatessen” for those adventurous enough to venture into new tastes: the “Deep-fried Spiders”! Upon arrival to Kampong Cham, stop by visit Pagoda Norkor Bachey. Lunch at local restaurant. Proceed to Chhlong and on the way stop to visit Rubber Plantations of Chub, financed in the beginning by the French tire maker Michelin. Upon arrival to Chhlong check-in to the hotel. Dinner at hotel’s restaurant

Day 4: Chhlong – Kratie – Koh Trong Island

After breakfast, departure to Kratie (38 km about 45 min by road) where you will take the local ferry to Koh Trong Island – an island situated in the middle of the Mekong River directly opposite Kratie Town. A 9km loop road around the island’s perimeter provides opportunities for visitors to leisurely by bicycle ride through traditional Khmer villages, fruits orchards and rice fields while observing the daily rituals and routines of traditional village life. Heading north to the top of the island, you will turn left and head inland. Not far along this path you will come across a Wat Ty Pram Kbal Pagoda. Lunch at homestay at Koh Trong Island. After lunch take the local ferry to Kratie and then transfer to Prek Kampi for the boat cruise on the Mekong River where you will get on a local boat to catch glimpses of the rare Mekong River Dolphins, also known as the “Irrawaddy Dolphins”, a rare species only found in Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia… And if you are very lucky, you may spot a dolphin tail. After the tour check-in to the hotel and dinner on your own account
Stay overnight: Koh Trong Island 

Day 5: Kratie – Mondulkiri

After breakfast, departure to Mondulkiri (194 km about 4 hours by road) – the province full of natural beauty, with thickly forested mountains, powerful waterfalls and the lush green rolling hills of the western side. 80 percent of the population in Mondulkiri is made up of ten tribal minorities and majority of houses are built in the typical Khmer style. The province is famous for elephants! Upon arrival to Mondulkiri check-in to the hotel and lunch on your own account. In the afternoon visit of Lak Pok Bras Waterfall surrounded by forest and mountains and enjoy swimming in the open areas of the clear water. Dinner on your own account

Day 6: Mondulkiri – Jungle Adventure

Breakfast at the hotel

Pick up from Main Street of Sen Monorom by the project team

Drive to the starting point of the tour which offers views over the large area of forest which has been protected from logging by the Mondulkiri Project

First, we walk from the hilltop into the jungle to the Mondulkiri Project’s Jungle Lodge. Here, you will listen to your guide talk about the Mondulkiri Project. Next, it is time to meet the 5 elephants and their Mahouts

Walk back to the jungle lodge and stop of lunch. Enjoy the views of the jungle

Return to the bottom of the valley and walk to the waterfall for a swim. Help wash our elephants.

Say “Goodbye” to the elephants and head back to the Jungle Lodge.

After returning to the Jungle Lodge it is time to watch the sunset and relax by the fire. You will meet your Bunong guide who will prepare traditional Bunong soup cooked inside bamboo. After dinner it is time for trying rice wine and playing cards. Sleep time in hammocks.

Day 7: Mondulkiri – Jungle Adventure

Wake up. Enjoy breakfast at the Jungle Lodge with its lovely views over the Otey River.

Walk along the new log bridge across the Otey River. Trek through some beautiful jungle with many different types of trees, flowers, vines and bamboo. Visit the 50m high Leng Khin Waterfall.

Lunch at the campsite alongside the beautiful Leng Ong waterfall. Stop for a swim!

Trek to the Bunong Farm to see cassava, chili peppers, lemon grass, wild rice, pineapples and cashew nut trees. Continue on to the Leng Ret cat and waterfall. Here, you’ll see bats sleeping in the cave. Continue walking through the jungle, pass through a river and climb out of the jungle arriving at Putang Village. A car will collect us from the village and take us back to the Sen Monorom
Stay overnight: Mondulkiri 

Day 8: Mondulkiri – Stueng Treng – Preah Vihear – Siem Reap

After breakfast, overland transfer to Siem Reap via Stuegn Treng and Preah Vihear province (610km – 9 hrs). On the way stop for lunch at Mekong Bird Resort. In the evening arrival to Siem Reap and check-in to the hotel and dinner on your own account

Day 9: Siem Reap – Sightseeing

After breakfast, depart to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom with temples the Bayon, Baphoun, Baksei Chamkrong, the Elephant terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

IMPORTANT:During the visit of Baphoun temple – visitors should wear shirts or blouse covering shoulders

and arms and long skirts and trousers covering legs (no miniskirt or short trousers)

Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch visit the most beautiful temple Angkor Wat – one of the wonders of the oriental world. Masterpieces of decorative details as well as of architectural style, its awe-inspiring ruins survive as testament to the spectacular achievements of Southeast Asia’s greatest civilization.

IMPORTANT: During the visit of Angkor Wat temple – visitors should wear shirts or blouse covering shoulders and arms and long skirts and trousers covering legs (no miniskirt or short trousers)

Enjoy sunset over Phnom Bakeng or Pre Rup temple (depending on the weather conditions)
IMPORTANT: In order to protect Phnom Bakheng site, APSARA authority allows only 300 visitors to climb up to Phnom Bakeng each time.

Stay overnight: Siem Reap

Day 10: Siem Reap – Sightseeing

After breakfast, depart towards Tonle Sap Lake where you embark our boat and take a ride to visit a floating village. You will go through the floating houses with small private boats. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch depart to visit of Banteay Srey temple – the fabled pink temple of women, so called because it is made of pink sandstone and considered a tribute to the beauty of women. Its small size, delicate carvings and remarkable state of preservation make Banteay Srey one of everyone’s favorite temples. Its apsara and male and female divinities represent the most skilled craftsmanship of sand stone carvings. Banteay Srey is located about 25 kilometers north of Angkor. It was dedicate in 987, making it one of the oldest temples in the region, though it was not rediscovered until the 1900s.

Stop and taste a fresh coconut juice on the way back to the hotel and dinner on your own account

Stay overnight: Siem Reap

Day 11: Siem Reap – Sightseeing

After breakfast visit temples: Prasat Kravan with its unique brick sculptures, Srah Srang – “the royal baths” – used to be used for ritual baths. Banteay Kdei, surrounded by four concentric walls. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch visit of Ta Phrom – the perfect lost-temple-in-the-jungle: Strangler figs and kapok trees entwine themselves around the ruins of Ta Prohm. Their roots burst apart even the thickest of walls, yet their clinging embrace prevents the walls’ collapse. After the tour return back to the hotel. Dinner on your own account

Day 12: Siem Reap Departure

Breakfast at the hotel, Free at leisure until transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your flight to your next destination
